I finally sat down this week to take the test to become a Certified Beer Server, and passed with flying colours. This is merely a fairly small step towards my goal of becoming a Cicerone and BJCP certified judge, but it is still the necessary first step! So I’ll throw myself a tiny, little party for being able to take a 60 question multiple choice test that I believe most beer lovers could pass with relative ease and little extra studying. Now on to the real task of studying, which will involve much beer sampling. It’ll be tough, but don’t worry about me; I’ll manage to make my way through it!
